Feliz Cumpleano Mamaella!

Today is my Mamaella's 91st birthday! Delia, or Mamaella as I like to call her, is the mother of my father's wife Gisella. She used to cook for me when I lived with my father about 15 years ago and she is a very sweet person. She had been in poor health recently but has made a terrific recovery and was able to come to Macaroni's to celebrate her 91st b-day! Amy and I drove down to Temecula (about 2 hours each way), where my father lives, with Biskie in the car and we all went out for Mamaella's b-day dinner. We sung her happy b-day in Spanish and had a good time. Feliz Cumpleano Mamaella! Mucho amor y muchos besos!

My Dog Is Cuter Than Your Dog

This is Biskie at the beach yesterday. He went swimming in the water for the first time and went crazy running up and down the beach. I know I may be biased but he may be the cutest dog in the world! Look at that Sweet Face! Awwwww...

This Dogs Life

This is a pic of my dog Biscuit sleeping on the couch the other night. They say when a dog sleeps on it's back it's because they feel safe and secure in their enviroment. Judging by this photo I would say Biskie feels about as safe as any creature has ever felt! We should all sleep so good!

Bronx Bombers

Got a real treat today when I went to the cathedral that is Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. That 26 time world champions sign above home plate pretty much sums the place up. The Yanks, aka Bronx Bombers, beat up on the hapless KC Royals with 3 home runs and wound up winning 9-3. I almost got a foul ball but some crazed New Yorker threw me aside and grabbed it! Bastard! Amy and I had pretty good seats at the left field foul pole and had a good time. Peanuts sucked but atmosphere was great and Yanks fans were pretty cool. The only dissapointment was that it was a 4-2 game in the eighth which meant that I would see Mariano Rivera, the greatest closer ever, come in to save it but the Bombers posted 5 in the eighth and Rivera put his jacket back on. Other than that the day was perfect...

My Subway Ride

This is my first time since I was a tyke that I rode on the NYC Subway. I know this is probably ho-hum for most but was kind of exciting for me. We took the Subway to Brooklyn and it is a great place to people watch. There are so many different types down there and you just need to know what all their lives are like but then they are gone. The Subway is such a cool way to get around! No parking, no traffic...definitely need to get one in LA ASAP!

Amy & I Storm NY!

That is a pic of Amy and I on the roof of our friends Peter and Statia's Brooklyn apartment building. The NY Skyline is in the background and it is a spectacular sight! They have a great place there with 2 cats and a baby on the way (2 months away). After checking out their pad and their cats Christmas (aka Chicken who is diabetic) and Meow-Meow (aka Chicken-butt who has no teeth and takes steroids) we all went to a dinner with them at a dynamite Italian restaurant and then had dessert at a chocolatier acrosss the street- good times!
